What is an FCA Character Coach?   

A volunteer committed to impacting coaches and athletes on a local team for Jesus Christ by simply being present, serving, and communicating . 

Who are FCA Character Coaches?

• Christian parents of players in youth sports
• Coaches of youth sports teams
• Lay leaders in the Church 
• Athletic trainers with sports teams
• Pastors or other ministry professionals
• Anyone with a heart to serve Christ through sports

What are the roles of the FCA Character Coach?

• Be seen , be known , be heard (in that order)
•   Attend  practice (1/week minimum) / 33% of games
• Host a pre-game meeting with the team, share how to build character 
• Communicate with Head Coach and local FCA staff once a week
